Old Heritage

Old Heritage pieces carry the spirit of traditional leather craft. They are created from carefully selected vintage leather, often repurposed from English saddles that have already lived a long working life.

Each piece is carefully cleaned with saddle soap, refreshed with dye where needed, and patiently conditioned using traditional Saddlers Blend Conditioner 1988. Many of its natural ingredients have been trusted for thousands of years to soften, nourish, and protect leather.

Made in the UK by Unicorn Leather, this conditioner contains no harsh chemicals or additives and has natural anti-fungal properties. I apply it lightly over several days, allowing the leather to slowly absorb the nourishment it needs.

For the Old Heritage collection, I believe this to be one of the finest ways to revive and preserve well-loved leather.

Each mark, crease, and patina tells a story of time and use. Rather than hiding these traces, they are embraced as part of the leather’s character.

These pieces begin a new journey while honouring the past — strong, enduring, and shaped by the lives they have lived.

Each piece is cut, dyed, and saddle-stitched entirely by hand.
